5 Questions for Grover Norquist by maliab

“We’re in trouble.”

Those are the first words you hear from Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform, as he sits down for Rick Hamada’s Five Questions.

Not that Mr. Norquist is all doom and gloom.  He continues to have faith in the American economy and business sector, but his analysis of our economic woes, whether it’s in comparing the limp Obama “recovery” to the more robust Reagan one, or in explaining the significance of the debt ceiling, is instructive, thoughtful, and yes, a bit worrying.

I recommend you listen to this one sitting down, as the sheer amount of money involved and the efforts of the federal government to expand its powers can make you feel a little woozy.
