Rooted in Reason: Nurturing the Seeds of Liberty

A Nice Cup of Tea by maliab

The part of my brain that likes to invest in tinfoil hats is deeply suspicious of moving tax days.  I already get annoyed and bummed out every April 15th.  And now they’ve moved the deadline to the 18th, so I get two days of annoyance for the price of one.  I bet that’s exactly what “they” want me to feel.

At any rate, there is one cure for the tax season blues . . . aside from putting all your money in shady offshore banks and moving to a shady international port city.  (Just kidding, IRS!  Really!  I don’t even make enough money to engage in international tax evasion maneuvers.  But if you don’t believe me, please note for the record that my actual name is Miley Cyrus.)  Anyway, as I was saying, the best way to counter the downside of tax day is a nice “Tea Party.”  And luckily, there are Tea Party rallies throughout the islands tomorrow.  Check them out and join us in the fight against overtaxation:

Hope to see many of you at the Tea Party events tomorrow! I’ll be at the Capitol. We need to be out in force, now more than ever.
